So what does everyone think about throttle body spacers?

Negligible increase if any, I did a lot of searching on my 04, most people put a spacer and CAI on at the same time. Most results said waste of money, recommended high flow filter in stock box.....

I put a CAI on back when I got it, back in 08. Just looking for a little bit more power without spending a ton of money, maybe I will look into an exhaust system.

U can always recalibrate ur maf. Either by flashing fuel maps or getting a hard wired unit.

Throttle body spacers are an absolute waste of time and money. And honestly if your CAI is under the hood, it's not working to actually bring in cold air. The power results you experienced with it are based on the larger filter.

If you want more power for a little coin, a cat back is probably your next step.

It's all about the flow...in and out.

My buddy's mom may get one. He and his whole family are farmers and own dozens of pickup trucks. After years of me telling him to add a Tundra to their full size fleet he finally did a couple of years ago. He's impressed. Now it appears as though mom is trading her Ford in on one of these 1794's after decades of owning nothing but Ford.

Didn't have it in 2012..the only difference is the grill, tail gate, and seats IIRC

That's all kind of what I thought. More air in and out and maybe a tuning once on to get it optimized?

I have heard so many conflicting statements about 3.4 intakes. Use aftermarket, don't use aftermarket. Who knows.

There isn't anything to tune unless you have a piggyback. Putting on the cat back will be similar to when you put on the CAI. Your short term fuel trim will go a bit crazy until it effects your long term trims. Eventually it will all come in line. Before you do that, take off and clean your MAF. Personally I don't subscribe to modifying the MAF signal. All that's going to do is make your run richer or leaner than you need.

Now if you have forced induction, I can chime in on tuning.

    Doesn't sound too bad.
