    I would assume you treat it like the painted sheet metal. Tape and prep the area so you don't get the remaining material scratched or damaged.

    But you already broke the first rule of owning a glass'd truck. It should have been white to begin with.

    I have 3.5° and 3.7° on my AllPro kit, if I didn't tow my crawler or DD I would have even more.

    here is how i did mine. Worked pretty good really. With the sanding wheel to touch up the bottom half. hardly any fender now down by the bottom..ha

    Weld the crack, then plate over it. And plate the other side while youre at it.

    Couple shocks, some old tires, and a bad paint job
    I set my caster to; +8° @ ride height & about +12° at bump and DD it quite a bit.

    i got a question for all you guys running dual stand up spares on a second gen. Im putting my bumper on sunday, and i took a look under there and there is a lot to move! I know i need to pull the bumper, tailgate and hitch, cut the bed, but I'm wondering about the passenger side brake light lines. Where did you guys run those? Also, it looks like there is a metal support under the edge of the bed... do i remove that or do i cut through that? just trying to get my ducks in a line before i start. Let me find a pic of the bumper for you guys.

    Zip tied to the bottom cross bar, that x member got cut in half for my application but temporarily, full boxes frame and new cross members will be done soon

    Thanks man! So there is a metal brace (thin looking sheet metal) that runs the length of the lip of the bed, if you know what I'm talking about, did you just cut a section out or did you cut it all out?
