I got some questions regarding the guys who dipped their wheels:

What you guys use to clean your dipped rims?
Is it safe to use Meguairs all wheel cleaner?
what cleaners do you guys use?

Ive seen online where you can buy a spray from DYC.com that cleans the rim without damaging the dip.

    good looking out bullaculla!

I didn't know you had to remove those two braces to remove the sway bar. I did both the stock one and sway a way without removing em. Does anybody run with out those braces? I always wanted too..

I used to have my rims dipped:
    1:hose and plastic tire brush
2: I wouldn't use and cleaner on it. cleaner usually has high PH levels, which generally means theyre acidic/ corrosive
    3:water, car wash soap

I have not Dipped wheels yet but i have dipped quite a bit of things to include a 2000 honda 650 xr and really you can use just about anything to clean it that you fell comfortable to use even bath cleaner if its all you have lol just make sure it clean and dry and help to have thing off the vehicle.

and on a different note i thing a press is calling my driver wheel bearing in the near future.

I never took mine off either haha. its not like theyre part of the structure, pretty much the mounting place for a poorly made stock skid plate

Mike, thanks for the fairlead. Makes it look so much better than a gaping rectangle. I'll get the winch eventually.

    No problem!

    Looks pretty good!

I was actually gonna order a built set of hubs from the market thread. cost a little more, but just easier to zero out everything.

my friend jokingly said, "thats the first step to removing the rest of that front suspension".

I think I am going to pull off those braces. I have a bunch of surface rust on the front of the frame, so I should get that taken cared of sooner or later too
