A way to achieve 4" of lift in the rear?

    Hey guys,
    I'm thinking about getting a spindle lift on my truck.
    It has a 3" lift already on (3" spacer lift and a 1" rear block) and if I install a spindle lift, I'll need a way to achieve 4" of lift in the rear. Could I install a 2" leaf pack and a 2" block? Any advice would be great.

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    i'd go 3" leaf pack and then a shackle flip...not quite 4", but better than blocks

    ur wanting to try to manhandle 7" of lift from a 3" spacer and 4" spindles???

    Hmm.... the guy that installed my 3" lift said it would be alright. I guess installing lifts aren't meant for but a few people :laugh:

    Spacer lift, bumper stickers, ejector seat, etc.
    I say take the spacers off, and then put spindles on. If you still want the extra lift, then get some coilovers. ;) Spacers = thumbs down

    No spacers please. And the best 4 inch rear lift would be a 4" custom buit leaf pack. No blocks.

    To the OP, do yourself a favor a get rid of those spacers. Why in the hell would your pair $1000+ spindles with such an inferior product? You truck will continue to ride like crap until you ditch the spacers and use some coilovers or at the least, billy 5100s.

    i see eveyone else agrees.....if u want to go higher than 4" in the front as well, go spindles and some form of adjustable coilovers....a couple on here have done it...spacers in the front AND any size block in the rear are both crap

    I got pretty close to a 4'' lift in teh rear using an AAL and a toytech 1'' shackle lift. the shackles only cost around 70$ so its relatively cheap. its worked great for me so far. you will probably need new shocks though

    Shackles are flipped on the 05+ Tacomas. Longer shackles will lower the newer trucks.

    I just put an AAL and block in the rear to level out my 4" lift and it rides shitty! Go with a custom leaf pack.
