Nicely done! If BDS had a kit out in 2011 I would of went with them. But I really want to go to mid travel so I can have more armor.

What do you mean sideways rain/snow is great for chopping bed sides

I would at least swing through, got some goodies to drop off to folks if they go.

The allpro expos are very thin leafs (8 of them) that give a smooth ride and flex very well. They don't hold weight very well and dont have an overload spring. Specifically designed for offroad use. They offer a HD spring for better weight bearing if you have a heavy expo setup (bumper, rack, RTT, etc...).

Dakars are very good springs that I think do a good job of balancing flex with weight bearing ability. If you plan to tow/haul or just use your truck as a truck, these are probably a good idea.

Dont do it. You need a clean brake. Once you see all the trucks lined up your going to get the bug again... :p

Ive said it before; every time I go to these meets, I have to re-convince myself I dont need 35's...

My hands look like they got into a fight with a cheese grater trying to reach up into the bumper to mess with my winch wiring. Not sure how much room the bruteforce has up near the winch tray, pelfreys is tightttttttt!

    Brent, Randy, Ron, Burry,

If I get a sheet of metal, can this be something doable (I still dont have measurements)?:

The rounded end will be bent up (about 90* but probably less to take in account the contour of the engine bay sidewall). The other ends will be bent down at 90*. I dont have to have the two shorter edges but will use the longer edge to mount catch can and probably relays.

It seems like the expos hold their shape better. My Dakars are getting pretty flat. Still flex well though :D

I know that many have said that the dakars settle a good bit but when the settling stops they hold pretty steady... maybe it is because when they finally stop settling they are flat??? I have a set of the D29xl aal to install on mine sometime, just havent gotten around to doing it yet. figure i would build the new bed rack first to offset some of the added rigidity. who knows???

I have the AAL sitting here too but I'm waiting to put icons up front since my 886's are definitely sagging at this point and the trucks pretty level fore and aft.

Come on by. Wife is giving me a pass the weekend of the 12th for three days. Looks like I'll have to work on my lights at night when the kids are asleep. As far as brakes and cv I'll wait until our schedules match up.

Pretty much sold on the CRV, knocking the price around now and then we'll see where we land. Still need some stock springs and looking for help to do the suspension swap Sunday afternoon.

That's what I figured with the AAL. I'm just holding off for coil overs so I don't have stink bug look.

    What thickness sheet metal?
It can be done, anything can be done... just depends on how much trouble and money you're willing to invest.
