That's a big plus about having 4WD, you don't trash the truck climbing... slow and easy... save the parts!

It's just a piece of sheet metal really just thicker gauge for what we're doing if you want I'll get some prices on a sheet and we can cut them our selves or in El Cajon there's a water jetting place that will cut it and also cut out led spots or a trd emblem. I can check out prices if interested

Looking for input. My trailer deck is shot and I was going to replace it. Was thinking 2x6, 2x8 or 2x10. 2x6 option is the cheapest but not by much at all after hardware, was thinking 2x10 just because less holes to dril, boards to prep and hardware to install. Any real advantage/disadvantage to the wider boards?

 

all the same. less holes, yes. but since they are all flat and are supported from the bottom via steel supports, go with the cheaper route.

Its within $10-20 but a difference in 10-20 bolts depending on how many rows I do.

 

well if its only 20$ different, then go 6 or 8". i thought you were talking 75-100$.

 

Wider boards are more prone to cracking and twisting, thats the downside.

Or use that Poly board synthetic wood, costs more, weighs more, but lasts forever, longer than your trailer! Oh ya, you said keep costs down, scratch that!
