You got lucky then and it was below the fatal level. 10 days of horrible constipation is lucky compared to what could happen. Watching a dog have violent seizures until they die isn't fun and that's what happens from theobromine poisoning.

Go easy pal, we are just having fun at you. There are always people with different opinions, the only reason half the people are in here is for entertainment at this point.

truth! i was just wondering one day and asked a vet. very about every 20 pound the dog is is can usually have 3 pounds of milk chocolate, can usually have even more than that of white chocolate. but can only have a max of 1lbs some times less of dark, and dark chocolate is the worst of them all for the dog. also those numbers are where you really have to start worrying about health or posable death. usually the dog will puke it all up before it eats that much.

Put a bowl of antifreeze down for him.... since you seem to think he wouldn't drink things that are dangerous for him. That's YOUR job dummy.

This is COMPLETE bullshit and if a licensed veterinarian really told you that I would find a new vet because that one is a fucking moron.

Again, it's my choice to do so and there are benefits realized from driving. Not even in the same ballpark as you giving your dog beer.

I trained all my dogs not to drink antifreeze when I first get them. I work in my garage a lot on cars and bikes and they hang out with me while I work. At a young age I get them to smell it and teach them its bad and you can put a bowl down, they won't go near it as they know its bad news. This also goes for gas, oil, and other fluids that can hurt them.

But I'm sure with all your knowledge and wisdom you already thought of that and I'm sure in your eyes it's dangerous to even introduce them to it.

I trained my dogs to have a tolerance to all poisons by weening them onto it a little by little... arsenic is next :spy:

    LOL! Nice.

I never feed it to them that's for damn sure. I've seen what antifreeze does to a cat and it's a brutal way to die.

But you can pour it on the floor and the dogs walk away. Never have to worry about that happening.
