Tires that well made, just run regular wheel weights. My old 3/4 ton had 38x15.5x18 inch Open country MTs and where perfectly round weighed the same so just did regular weights with no problems. I was only advised to use them if the tires were bigger, bias ply, not perfectly round or within same weight.

I read on pirate somewhere that the copper coated ones break down and turn to dust after a while. I would just get the regular plastic heavy ones.

Everything else will with time too. They're copper coated steel. I think I'll try the copper first. You try the plastic, we will both see how they work, and brainstorm about it later :)

i run the plastics in my beadlocks, when we split the beadlocks to swap tires and pull 35's off the plastic was wearing down, roughly 7500 to 10000 km on them, hard to really judge, as I didn't really look at the odometer. I will say they werent worn down to nothing though, still very usable

i am going with copper with the upcoming season

About the air soft pellets ask ajohnson he either used them or the dynabeads (made for balancing tires but essentially the same as the air soft pellets)

Edit: he is also running 37 mtr's

I got a tub of the plastic bb's from the local sporting goods store. Split it up to about 13 oz per tire IIRC. Rides smooth and sounds cool when I stop

I used the premium airsofts as well. I got one large container and spkit it into five equal portions. Never weighed a thing. Smooth as glass, even with diy beadlocks which are usually horrible to balance.

And just say no to traditiinal weights. They get knocked off on the rocks, and they don't account for mud caked wheels when getting of the trail.

That's the best part about beads...not having to stop at the first carwash u see to get the mud off the wheels so they are balanced again...

Would probably help for ice in the wheels too. Having difficulty deciding on copper or airsoft. Innovative balancing says they're not efficient if they're heavier. Hmm

How long do you think before tires are installed?

I got two seals for the back of the spindle

    90316-A0001
Inner wheel 'oil' seal. Not axle seal.

I'll need to pop them out when we melt the gussets on. Gonna get them welded on fairly soon, so there's one less thing to do during the big install day.
