Stain seat help

So yesterday i went to a party at a friends house and i was asked to pick up the mexican food from the restaurant, and would you know it none of them spoke english. I asked the guy with the cart to put the food in the BED OF THE TRUCK i said it a few times and he repeated " si si" and when he got to the cars he was insistent to put it in the back seat i told him not to and i was walking around the truck to the other side to open the tailgate, but he stuck a giant tray of chicken grease on the left side of the back seat and while i saw it dripping on the seat he just looked at me with a dumb look and i told him to take it out but no he just stained at me. i got the shit out of the car and i told him to put it in the bed and i rushed into the restaurant to get a wet towel and they gave me a cardboard box. so i went into the kitchen and grabbed a rag and got it wet and proceeded to wipe the seats. the stain didn't go away so i went to ace and bought 20 bucks worth of stain remover and spent 30 minutes scrubbing the seats, but the stain is still there. Does anybody know how to get this crap out or a product that works well.

to continue the day i returned to the party and a little girl that was at the party tried to pick up this gallon container of beans and dumped it all over the bed but i just sprayed it out with the hose

 

It works great for everything. I use it on the armrests to get the grime off. It is the only thing I have found to get everything clean. Walmart sells it. I bought a bucket of the powder a few years ago. You mix it with water, a little goes a long way. It is a great carpet cleaner also. So far it hasn't discolored anything.

 

Sorry to hear that, sound like your weekend was hell.I don't know what would take that off, I'll probably check into some stain remover from AutoZone or Advance Autopart, or something like that... sorry to hear that...

 

will that also get out water stains? When I took my truck to the beach... my friends sat on my seats..drenched in salt water.. :O...

 

Worth a try. I used it recently to clean my carpet in my house. Oxiclean worked better than the carpet cleaner. That stuff is amazing.

I've seen it take permanent marker off wallpaper without hurting the wallpaper. When my Son was 3 & at his grandmothers.

 

to get out the water stains that i had i used tough stuff apulstry cleaner and it makes the water marks go away really easily

 

dude check your warranty, if toyota cant get the stain out they will replace the seat

i JUST picked up my 09 today, and as pary of the standard 3 year warranty, they will clean it or replace the seat

Will oxy clean remove coffee spills?

 

I'll call BS on that one....

 

With an Oxyclean based cleaning product and a little simple green mixed with water you should be able to get the grease stain out or coffee or water stain If you have a shop vac you can completely soak and scrub the seat with the simplegreen oxy mix then suck the water out with the shop vac. Leave windows cracked so the seat can dry completely after you vac out as much water as possible. Instead of just soaking the stain do the entire cushion so it dries evenly. Dont use to much oxyclean or simplegreen in your cleaning mixture as a little goes a long way. Good luck

actually I think some dealers offer warranty on the upholstery, they offered something like that to me when I bought the truck.. I dont remember the exact quote but I remember it being around $500.. and they said you could take it back as many times as you want and they will clean it

 

My dealer warranties the upholstery for 3 years!!!!! i was happy to hear that

Here is the safest and surest way I have found to get out any stain. Rub the spot with a damp cloth then spray it with a plain store brand blue window cleaner (cheap generic actually seems to work better than name brands). After spraying it (get it fairly wet) take a medium hard brush and brush it up and down, left and right. Wipe it down with the damp cloth and dry it as best you can with another cloth. Let it dry. Has worked on wine, coffee, and even grease. Give it a shot, it's all stuff you probably have in your house right now.......good luck

Oh....I forgot to add, the damp cloth works best if warm, and brush the stain carefully so as not to wear the seat fabric!
