guys i have to bail :( i got hired to help my friends parents' company move their office this week/weekend. i would normally have told them that i already have plans, but being unemployed i kinda have to take what i can get when it comes to work. im not too happy about this especially since i just got my lift installed and i never get to wheel my truck where i live. the good news is that im going to RC next month sometime when my friend gets back from england with his truck (hes been stationed there in the air force). have fun guys, drink some beers for me.

Damn. I'm out for this event. :(

Last night I realized that I have to decide between attending the RC meet or race prep. Obviously race prep wins out.

The rollcage will be done and the rear shocks will be in tonight, but that still leaves about a dozen other planned-for items to address. Included in that list is fitting the front bypass shocks. Not included but now necessary is removing the factory brake booster, replacing the master cylinder with an aftermarket one, and replumbing the brake lines. Yes, I'm converting to manual brakes just to fit the upper shock hoop for the secondary bypass. The benefit of all this is that my rear disc brakes will actually get enough fluid to work when it's all done.

Anyway, I'm unfortunately out. Sorry for the late notice!!!

Nah. I knew the timing would be tight. The modifications are just a whole lot more involved than I expected.
