I do 2 a day. One post-workout and one before bed. Everything I've read about BCAA's has been talking about how you need them intra-workout so you don't burn up all your amino acids, which lead to muscle loss. All amino acids are are broken down protein. I may be missing something here, but why not just eat a pre-workout meal with a good protein source?

Ha I just get tired of dealing with fucktards. People can be pretty damn stupid.

Gotta make up for the 3 years of youth I tossed to the military.

Man, I couldn't do it. I could barely work out around idiots and thats just 1 - 1.5 hours around em. No way could I work around em.

Sounds like pretty sound logic to me. The only thing I like intra workout is water...

Me neither :pout: It has happened, but honestly I just get too drunk when I go to the bar and any/all game that I never had to begin with goes right out the window.

i usually just let myself get blackout and do the talking from there. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes you wind up in relationships

    Hells ya! Pokemon!

But ya, my best nights out have been when I was DD and only had a few beers at the very beginning of the night to loosen up. Any time I take a shot I can almost guarantee I am going home alone with nothing more than some digits.

I get to deal with it for about 30 hrs a week lol. People dragging mud in, not re-racking weights, slamming weights around, spilling stuff, and pissing and shitting all over the place in the bathrooms. It does have its perks, though. I get to do my homework, get free membership and shakes, and can workout anytime I want.

If not, play in the dirt

Same here. Those damn things are expensive, too. I did read that if you train fasted, they can help, but I don't, so I'll save that money for tuna and potatoes :D

A lot of my friends have met their significant other at the bar. I have yet to meet a girl from the bar I wanted to date though.

    haha never have, never will

yeah, I got lucky. We were both there with friends, so we were both 'relatively' sober. I'm not much of the going out type though. I'm more into parties with friends, rather than bars. I absolutely hate clubs.

paying 5 dollars a beer, rubbing against sweaty people, have some drunk chick touch your junk maybe a quickie in the smoking area then drive to dennys with your bros and talking shit about each other over eggs was pretty much my life in highschool. god i wish i can have the money and the time i spend doing that shit back, would probably be jacked as shit right now and driving around on 37s with 4 links SAS instead of 35s and a 3 inch lift lol

haha I didn't party too much in high school, but in my beginning days of college, we had a lot of parties, but only went out 1-2 times per semester. Now, we all just go offroading/fishing/watch football every Saturday and drink all day with friends. Much more low-key and my style.

After more and more and more and more reading on BCAA's, I've pretty much come to the conclusion that they're worthless on a bulk, but can help on a cut if you workout for long periods of time or train fasted. My workouts are around 45 mins. Eating a high-protein pre-workout meal along with a post-workout shake should eliminate any need for BCAA's, which is good for my wallet.
