I drive a Toyota because they're dead reliable. My first vehicle was a 2000 Tacoma, then a 2005 Corolla XRS, '09 Taco, now '11 Taco. I did terrible, unspeakable things to the motor in my first Taco and it never skipped a beat. I've never had a problem with any Toyota so that's what I'll keep buying for now.

    Some stuff...
That was an awesome video! I first learned to drive on a manual late 70's Toyota pickup, so it's just natural for me to drive a Tacoma.

Pretty much anything they do. I've got so many I love. Just youtube Top Gear BBC and pick Reliant Robin, Caravan Challenge, etc... I think I've seen every episode. It is by far my favorite show on TV.

If you have BBC America they are on almost all day on Mondays. They are just finishing this series. They will be back later in the summer but you can catch up on most every episode they have if you set your DVR to record on Mondays.

The North Pole special you would probably like also since they take a Toyota all the way up.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
I just wanted a solid reliable 4x4 that I could not worry about. I did careful research on what I wanted for about a year, the Tacoma and 4Runner were tied when I made my decision. Went with the Tacoma because I needed the bed.

Yeah the 4Runner is a very solid SUV. Ive had one and never had a problem with it! The only thing I didnt like is when I would try to drift it, just for fun, the emergency ebrake would always come on right in the middle of the drift and i could never finish it lol. Yes I took off traction control, but that didn't do anything... But imo, Tacomas look better lifted :D

I mean yeah Toyota is great and all but they don't make them like they used to. I doubt there will be as many 2nd gen Tacoma's/3rd/4th gen 4Runners on the road in 25 years as there are 1st gens on the roads today.

I don't wanna fight, please, but could you elaborate on how they don't make them like they used too?

The more electronics you put on the the less reliable they become. Toyotas are still one of the most reliable vehicles out there but with more electronics, emissions bullshit, etc. things become slightly less reliable. The Hilux in the video is a prime example of that.

That said, I love my truck and both that I have owned have been great so far.

That is a major player. Plus a 22R/RE, solid front axle, manual t-case (why they took them out of the Tacoma I will never understand), plus a number of other things I cannot list off the top of my head.
