Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
mine looked like that too when I lived closer to work. Was only driving maybe 10 minutes each way.

After I moved further out making the trips longer, no more of that stuff.

Normal, even on long trips in really cold conditions. My oil cap looks like that from about november to april, the long filler tube ends up being a cool area to collect condensation.

When in doubt, always check the antifreeze reservoir for tiny brown dots or drops. Specialy after a long drive.

I hate family guy!!! Didn't think it would happen inside a somewhat sealed environment...my bad for not knowing...as I stated before..I used to live in a desert. I didn't know humidity or condensation did this.

It's condensation build up when your motor doesn't heat up enough to get rid of it. It's normal

Thats what I have done. Catches a lot of that crap before recirculating it back into the intake. Defiantly a must have..Doesnt stop the condensation but, id rather not burn milk lol

Here are some possibilities, but it is not normal. However it may be common on some vehicles because of poor or faulty design. Normal is what comes from the factory, and they do not come that way.

short trips, engine not heating up to temp, is a possibility but I would still not call that normal because a new vehicle at the dealership has had several short starts and they do not have that.

possible engine breather tubes partially clogged

    Bad PCV valve

    worst case scenario: head gasket...
