People who hide nuts in places you can't get a wrench on and then only trust a couple small, mediocre tack welds to actually hold should be crucified multiple times.

Turns out the crack in my cross member is back as well as the front, so I have to ditch the steering rack to get in their to weld on it. Wish I had some new bushings for it on hand. Also wish Toyota would weld the entire circumference of nuts they put in places you can't get wrenches to!

 

Another project I still need to do. Have all the parts to relocate it. The piece of pvc has been in the bed of the truck for about 3 months now haha

 

I will get some pics once I mount them and stuff the tires.

not sure if I would call that the best move personally. Shit can rub in the stupidest spots. But if you test fit it it might work. You might still be taking a bfh to it in the end

i dont have a clutch, but does this look like it would have been an issue?

granted that is one side. it would have been much less drastic if my caster was even and pushed forward more lol

i would think it depends on the bumper....

thats a stupid reason. 10 seconds with a cut off wheel and your bumper issues are fixed

it will rub on a lot of stuff lol, just the way it is. I could turn the wheel twice before metal started to cut into my tire

i took mine off, and forgot it at konstas, so I dont even have one lol

a 1" BL is not a problem. people lose their shit about them for no reason. 2-3", is pretty unnecessary however

 

Like mark said, a 1" is get really not a problem. I guess the bigger 2 and 3" ones put more leverage and stress on the body mounts and can punch through the cab.

 

Full stuff I don't rub my elite. Must be because I cut 1.5" off the ends.

 

Before anybody buys a body lift. I have a brand new 4 crawler bl 1" sitting in my garage. Pm me if interested. Decided not to use it
