Mine too......grew up in SC but was born in GA. Tough game for me each year.

Ehhhhhh.....I have to agree but only because of the QB change. Murray was rock solid & Richt knows he can't just rely on their super RB.

I'm sure that FSU will walk the dog on 'em unless something major has changed.

I think it'll be a pretty good game. Should be tougher than most FSU fans think.
That'll also be a good game. You going to it? It's not a far drive from Red Stick to Houston.
Ah. Makes sense. That'll be a cool experience. Where will you be?

I'm not sure what to expect from my Dawgs this year...

I DO expect a huge improvement overall, and not nearly as many injuries.

If Mason can be a "Game Manager" type of QB instead of trying to be a game changer, I think we'll be OK. You've got Gurley coming back, supposedly at 85-90% healthy right now, and should be 100% by fall, Bennett and Conley at WR, Keith Marshall coming back healthy, Scott-Wesley coming back, and a couple of big TEs coming in to replace Arthur Lynch, along with Quayvon Hicks moving from FB to TE. Returning OL. Didn't even mention the 2 huge RB we signed this winter.

Mason doesn't have to do a LOT to have success. Be good enough to keep pressure off of the incredible stable of RBs, spread the ball around to your experienced WR, and you'll be OK.

The defense can't be any worse than it was, even though we'll be without our 2 starting Safeties to start the season (one kicked off the team, the other will probably be suspended). We have some really good LBs, and Pruitt shoul dbe able to coach up the DBs.

I really think if the Defense can catch up to the offense, we'll be in the title hunt. Just like that article said, the schedule isn't all that tough again. Clemson, SC, Florida, Auburn are our toughest games. Tennessee always plays us tough, but we're in Athens this year (and maybe they won't ruin our season like they did last year when everyone got hurt). I don't care how bad Florida is, they're always a tough game for us. Vandy won't be as good this year, but Tennessee will be better than last year.

I think we might have a chance..........

Then again, this is the offseason and I'm a Georgia fan...I say the same thing every offseason.

OH...AAAAAAND we have Special Teams coaches! So expect an improvement there, too!

I'm looking for much improvement on D even without the safeties. Maybe I'm expecting too much but looking for Pruitt to have someone filling the spots. I've been reading how the players are raving over how much simpler and quicker they are practicing on D. Even saying they're conditioning better. It's sounding good but I hear and say the same type things every spring.

I am worried about QB play due to the questions on the o line. I'm afraid our O will not be near as potent at least early on if we can't protect Mason or create holes for the slew of RB's we have, meaning our D will have to be way way improved. If we had a more experience QB who could make reads quicker the line issue wouldn't bother me as bad. But hopefully with all the backs we have we can keep some pressure off Mason.

My outlook right now is that it's just too hard to tell with so many question marks but I'm excited to see (hopefully) big improvements on the defensive side even if the offense slows. I'd rather play defense than have the shoot outs like in the recent past. But if our D doesn't improve a lot then I'm afraid we're in big trouble. My hopes are high but expectations are just so so which I guess is the way we need to be, not expecting.
