My trailer is 83" x 20'. If you mean front and back, I have that but feel 20' is a long distance not to secure the boards. And if you mean running a flat stock across instead a row of bolts, I'd rather not have the strap going across the mid section because I do use it for other things and don't want to sweep or shovel with the metal across.

 

1/2" plate ,full length/width...done & done.. might bump the weight up a tad tho'....

Ya know I'm not sure whats the best wood to use for planks..

 

I use regular wood, then soak it in oil. Makes a redneck railroad tie, works well for the price.

Put it on fence boards and gave it that old wood look but repels rain.

 

Stays oily to the touch for a few days is all.

Ok Guys so some parts are planning on Coming off the truck. I have to bring it back to stock for when Toyota buys it back. This is kind of a bitter sweet moment. Don't need anyone to low ball me so don't try. Everything is in great shape, and if they don't sell then they will be put on the new truck when I get it, but with stock parts adding up im running out of storage at the moment

Doug, thanks for hooking me up, I'll drop by Home Depot in poway to get the other bolt to make the center pin, and I'll be back over in the not so distant future.

 

I'm keeping some things and selling others. All of these things are coming off so if they sell then they sell and if they don't then well they go back on the new truck. So the more money I free up the more I'll put down on the new one and allow me to mod the new one faster. Plus modding the truck most of the fun. Lol
