No worries man. She was a great dog. Lived to be 13 which is pretty good for a pure bred German Shepherd. Her hips were starting to go, then her skin was irritated to the point she would chew the fur off and the skin until it bled, and pawing at her eye until it bled and got infected. Then I found a lump in her tail, probably cancerous.

Yeah. She has always been fed the expensive food, been taken good care of and all. She would whine all night to try and get up the stairs to sleep with us but her hips wouldn't let her, she tried, so we had to put a guard up so she wouldn't fall down the stairs trying. She's in a better place now. :) We have her ashes.

I know, but it wasn't directed specifically at you. This thread was heading that way with strong feelings on both sides too. Just trying to lighten it up.

Maybe.....the bottom line is.....I was talking to some dentist friends of mine, and they said, regarding dogs and alcohol, you don't feed them chocolate.

idk if you saw my other post. but one or even a few should not do much more than make them puke and have the runs... now you just have to watch where you step in the dark not just what you pick up...

our pug has got into Hershey kisses and was fin. only had 1 or 2. just had the runs the next day.

Depends on the chocolate. Dark chocolate can mess them up bad. The darker the chocolate, the worse the affects. Our big dog, Gabby, had ONE dark chocolate chip that fell on the floor, and she was sick for 2 days.
