We have ridiculous amount of deer here,I'm good for about 20-25. I could take more but can't use that many. Legally can kill over 100 per season with bonus tags. I shoot them with bow,muzzleloader,shotgun,7mm-o8,custom 1000 yd 300 win short mag. Got to keep it interesting. Spring gobbler 2 wks away. Going x-bow 1st. day! Lots of bears here also. 500 lb. bears around here too. [IMG]
    2012 kill,dressed 178 lb

That's badass man! Yeah I live in texas and have only hunted texas and Alabama lands.. I gotta expand and hunt different states. But dude that so bad ass! I usually use either a 30-30, .308, or 7mag. Depends on where im set up. Never used a bow or a muzzleloader.

Because manual transmission. If I could have an f150 super crew with a coyote 5.0 and manual trans I would.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
I agree, even the 1st gens don't hold up like the old Pickups from the 70s and 80s did. Those old trucks were dynamite all around.

I drive a Toyota because all the other vehicles I and family members have owned have always given us to many issues.

always had toyotas around growing up. This isn't my truck, but I've driven and fixed it like it was since 2011. I think my brother has only driven it a handful of times since he got it and it was sitting at the house so I started driving it 3 years ago. Over the years I've taken it around this island, thru rivers up to the steering wheel, in the mud, sand, snow and rocks. I haven't touched the front suspension, or brakes, or anything on the motor besides the alternator and hoses. It has the stock aisin carb and is geared.
After 3 years of abuse, over 4 different rear bumpers, patching up the bed, and my friend putting his head into the windshield….it's finally coming apart for a cab and bed swap.
Last weekend the bed went mister floppy on me, the drivers floor is gone, and the roof is slowly making a skylight in various areas.

new it came with a 4" sups and 3" body but I ended up cranking down the torsion bars. he traded an ex cab v8 ranger for it more than a few years ago but it had some 33" boggers and steel rims, so I ended up putting on my tires and rims and kept changing them out with different sets. Just kept hammering on this truck and its held up for being a fairly stock with ifs lift.

this my truck, it's been a sitting project and has a stock bed since the last time its wheeled. hasn't been thru as much since I changed the motor, cab, bed and some suspension/steering. before that it was a felt different truck but it was taken a bunch of places too about 6-7 years ago.

Or, maybe I just like to turn wrenches. One or the other.
