That's what I should have, but I always get into the 'This gun deserves no less than...blah, blah, blah *insert Gucci brand name component*' line of thinking. The amount of money I pour into these things is just plain dumb, yet at the same time I wonder how my friends pay several grand for suspension when that's exactly what I should be doing. My truck should look like yours by now!

    Nice!

Wish it were so easy here. Even though we've won the court battle which technically made us a "shall-issue" county, the Sheriff is still making it as difficult as he possibly can. In other states the Sheriff is your friend. In San Diego county, he's one of our biggest enemies.

In other state-related news, I picked up a DPMS pattern 80% .308 lower. If I were in a free state, I would have simply gone out and bought the gun I wanted. But seeing how Califoirnia now requires even long gun purchases to be registered, I saw no other alternative to building my own. If it ever gets stolen, I'll let them know. Until then, they can stay the **** out of my business.

It's been on order forever and finally came in. I wanted a heirloom quality shotgun that I can pass down to my son and his son/daughter, etc., etc, etc. This is my brand new

Remington 870 26" Wingmaster 12 ga. shotgun with the solid walnut stock.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
good gun. looks very similar to the wingmaster i inherited from my dad. his dad bought it for him ~1976 i think. still the best shooting shotgun i have. i wish it had the screw in chokes though like that one appears to have. that being said, i've still won my share of turkeys w/ it.

This is why you move slightly east, across the border, to an actual state.

California would be a lovely state if it wasn't for the majority of Californians and their political views.

We just returned from another trip from Southern California and I find myself saying that daily whenever we're there. It's too bad...

Then who will fight for California? ;)

I have seriously thought about Southern Utah, though. Love it there.
