Are there any water crossings in moab?

 

The RTT mr. Mike... The RTT.

 

Kane creek, Delores triangle, onion creek are a few off the top of my head.

 

I'd like to run Onion, after looking down on it from Top of the World, it looks like a cool area surrounded by that big ass cliff and the La Sals.

 

I did a quick run up Onion Creek last year blowing some time in the afternoon. It's a cool area, tons of creek crossings, but all we're about 6" deep. The super green valley you end up in is neat too. More like a dirt road though, did the whole thing in 2wd.

It could be kind of a cool loop though to hit that with the small section of the Kokopeli and do top of the world too.

Edit: Looking over my map I guess that is Rose Garden Hill, which is a 7 on TD. Would certainly make for an interesting loop.

Damn I wish I had the $... but I'd have to build a rack for it first... and I'm struggling enough with time to get sliders and possibly a rear bumper built before Moab

 

scratch the rear bumper, get the bed rack made and get a tent

then drag your rear bumper all around moab so when you get home you have an excuse to build that rear bumper

Here's the thing... I'm single... I don't need an excuse to mod my truck... just need the time and $

eh rtt's are over rated. too much weight mounted too high in the truck....
now if its mounted to a trailor.... different story

I have no problem setting up a small tent or my hammock.. And saving $1300... Now if you are a senior citizen....

 

That's my plan... build an offroad trailer much like Jberry or Boxrocket

 

Eventually I will do the same, but until then...
