I know this question is not for me but, hey, I'm nosy. I just happened to be working on my windshield washer res clearance today and realized that 99% of my issue was just the pump and corner of the shield. So, I relocated the pump up into my quarter panel and my issue is basically gone.

    20140328_093732_zps08ad694a_96004141b811e68cc20a6570157a7c51e62ca13f.jpg

If that doesn't work for you, there's always the pvc res solution. I know a couple of guys that are running it and love it.

Thanks for chiming in! I've seen the expedition portal link. I might do that depending how bad I rub. I've taken out the shield and the bottle is just exposed. Where the pump is located looks like it's going to be a problem.

Do you have a picture of the pump location?

no, but its generally loud being gear on gear. also, how much fluid did u put in? if u just filled it up the first time till it came out the fill hole, u need to put more in. the void between the crawler and tcase takes a good bit too and it will kinda stay in there. so basically u need to fill it, drive it a little bit, then top off the fluid

Ha! Sounds great Paul! I'll send a case of beer back your way :p

I don't really notice the washer bottle to be honest. The only time I do is turning left and stuffing the wheel. It'll rub a bit on the outer edge, but ever since I've done the washer bottle guard, it hasn't been to bad

    *Excuse the bad pics*

Basically, I just moved it up into the quarter panel almost directly above where it was before. There were two holes that were in the engine compartment that I used to zip tie it into place.

Here's a view from the side. (before I finished trimming)

This one looks up at the pump inside of that compartment

Sorry. I know the pics don't show it too well, but, hopefully, you get the idea.

I know right. The money could go to other mods like kick out sliders!

Side by side couldn't see a difference. Just because it says more lumes doesn't mean it's true. The ppl of this forum seem to be fanboys and sworm to the highest price. And I'm about done with building Paul lol

Big benefit/difference with rigids is their specialty reflectors/projectors like the hyperspots. I'll agree they are expensive...

Lumens aren't important. Its lux at distance and beam pattern. Also warranty is nice to have.

Don't get me wrong rigids are the shit.. Remember I've seen your sun setup! I just don't wheel enough at night to justify the cost. Plus my mod money goes else where .. ie crawl box

:anonymous: its about 1000x brighter now. I hear you on the night wheeling though.

Yep, I'm debating on wtf to do. Want to ditch the DB lift but that's gonna be costly.

Did you epoxy your magnets on the plate ? Mine are gorilla taped haha
