I am not familiar with the cases but comparing it with others that look similar in size that seems to be a really good deal.

My local ones will normally come down if you know what you are looking for and then they will take a little less if you pay cash.

One set of blank rails at a pretty decent discount for anyone interested. These are the rails for the double cab tacoma 2005-2014. PM me if you want them.

I really like these. The problem is that I have a shell as well. And of course, it wouldn't look right unless I had a matching set. Hmmmm.........

Well you can definitely do both...but either one doesn't look bad by their self. I had both on individually at one point in time and liked the look either way.

    A couple of announcements.

    1. Pending a few payments we have reached the goal of 15 racks sold. Which means it is time to do a drawing for a roto-pax setup for those who have purchased:kona:

I would like to know what you guys would prefer, a 4 gallon gas, or a 4 gallon combo of a mixture of water/storage/emergency/fuel?

    2. I will hopefully be installing the first access cab version of this rack on shutterbugs truck this week. It will require drilling but will be an option in the future. I am going to order more aluminum soon and would like to gauge the interest in an access cab version to know if I should have some of the access rails cut with the next batch.

    3. Thanks for everyone who has purchased/participated in these threads so far. It has been great and I hope you all are happy with the product.

    4. EDIT: 1 set of blank rails still available at a discounted price PM for Details.

If you have to employ child labor to keep costs down I am okay with it.

I am watching this thread and the one on the FJ forums closely.

Some more pictures of the FJ Roofrac. This client ended up painting the rails and leaving hardware stainless and the crossbars bare aluminum to match the colors of his truck. Turned out slick.

Wow...the FJ rack turned out awesome!
    I'd prefer a 4 gallon gas.

I have a Leer 100RCC commercial cap and my rack mount system just consists of 4 feet , I wonder if it would be possible to use your rack system still

Shouldn't be too difficult. However, in aluminum I am limited to a length of about 58" for the side rails. You have to bend the aluminum against the grain to prevent cracking and breaking and the widest sheet I can get is 5'. Anything longer and you would have to do steel for the side rails, you can still keep the aluminum for the crossbars though. The FJ side rails and the long bed side rails that I have done so far have been steel.
