with the full width axles you should be fine just make sure the links send ya forward a few inches and you'll be set

 

Plus I've already started the cutting and trimming process. Just need to do the BFH part when the time comes.

 

Actually, 35s may be that easy for the Prerunner crowd. They have those things like drop spindles and crap to get more than the 3 or so inches of lift us 4WD guys are limited to (without going long travel or DB).

Far as the Jeep...I dunno. When I parted with it, I was on my ninth drive shaft, a dozen or so U-joints, third set of ring and pinions, 2nd T-case, 2nd ECU, and it had a shot clutch slave cylinder and a leaking rear axle seal...and I only had it a little more than a year. That's not counting all the stuff I repaired without buying new parts, like the cracked t-case tail housing (welded), tranny mount (fabbed one), and the rear axle tube that broke the rosette welds and spun in the diff housing (rewelded). 16x35 Boggers were brutal on the driveline.

 

Only going forward about an inch. I think I'll be alright.

 

can I be there for that? should be fun and i'm running out of 4r excuses

 

Waiting on fuckin Fastenal for my new bumper and softopper.

 

Im waiting on expo leafs and a custom shackle flip that probably will take a few more weeks...sucks

 

At least you have you truck & not waiting on the truck & springs like I am.

 

You have a good point sir. My springs won't be going on until I get the shackles anyway so you might just be up and running before me.

 

If they really get them by the 1st like he said then I should have it back next week. Then I have to install my spindles.

ill be honest though Wes, I kinda just want the fenders for the looks lol, I honestly have only just been thinking of ideas and things I want to do next, havent looked fully into what I need to do especially with like what you were saying to fit the 35s, if I gotta cut...I gotta cut.

next few things ill be workin on gettin' are Maxtrac spindles, sliders/hilift, and possibly a soft topper...still debating on this lol

EDIT: I should prob throw getting a winch and hybrid bumper sometime in there too lol....

 

Why dont you buy all these beautiful 4wd components.

Buy the parts for later.
If you're serious about the conversion I wouldn't waste money on spindles.

 

scrap all that and get an ARB locker!
