Do I need new isolators?

My 07 has 103k in it and I just ordered my 5100's. Do I need to order new isolators as well?

 

It's not a bad idea to replace any old rubber parts while you're in there. I would.

 

Anybody else? Im putting my shocks on next weekend

 

Spring Isolators? Sure why not. After 100k they are prolly squished pretty good, but I'm sure you can just reuse them.

 

Second thought, if you are in there, might as well do it right. 7+ yrs of dust and dirt and flexing, it would only be a matter of time before they start to make noise or wear out completely and start eating at your spring plates etc. give your bearings a good check as well, make sure they aren't on their way out. I just did mine and cleared up a lot of vibes, at 55k right now....

 

I cant find them for anything.

 

That is kind of weird. I looked and can't find anything but the whole strut mount kit for 2nd gens. Plenty of 1st gen isolators, but only package deals for 2nd gen. FWIW, rockauto had a kyb kit for $20 (you would need two). Still kinda expensive for if you're just gonna use the isolators...

Have you called anywhere instead of just internet searches? I think talking to an actual person would help here.
