Depends on what kind of noises you mean. Bypasses make noises, its not a rationale, its how they work

    Yup, this

Got the new OME front C/Os on. Getting some grub then heading to a friends to finish out the rear shocks. Stupid bushings not already pressed in...

Holy crap that was nerve wrecking. I found a hole in my bed today when I pulled my drop in liner so I welded a patch in. I've never welded on a vehicle before, still new to welding in general but went ahead and did it. Welds leave alot to be desired but decent and the hole is patched. My biggest worry was the truck not starting afterwards but she started and drove just fine.

Now I need to prime and paint tomorrow.

A bench vise worked great for pressing the bushings into the shocks. Just lay a rag on the vise so it doesn't damage the shock/bushing.

Anyone know if there are any long term negative side effects to having a SC? I've seen a couple for sale and have thought it would be nice to have a super charged motor but I've also wondered if it will cause problems down the road, or mess with the durability/ longevity of these Tacoma motors?

well..does put more strain on the motor yes and pretty much all over drive line components.

But i think the pros out weight the cons.

Tony has his boosted with 220k+ and hasn't had an issue...and drives the shit out of it haha

Many guys have 200K + with s/c's and have no problems. If you take care of them and keep up with your regular maintenance, you should be fine. The URD 7th injector kit also helps your engine to better handle the SC. I just got mine and love it. I will be doing the 7th injector this summer.
