You're not talking about the drain holes are you?

As long as you disconnect the battery welding won't effect anything.

Don't forget about the premium fuel that is recommended to run the supercharger.

My mileage didn't change any for normal driving. It may have even increased since premium gas is 100% gas instead of the 10% ethanol I was running. It's 59 cents more a gallon right now though.

not all premium is. Some, but not all is 100% sadly.

I'm getting around 16-17 now and I'm only on 31's... and I drive like an old man. Not quite as old as madjik but still. :)D)I've been wondering why my truck isn't getting any better mileage than it is, since madjik gets over 20 at times and he also has the 3.4. I believe Brent says he gets like 18-19 hwy and he's on 33's. I live on perfectly flat ground. Wtf. I need to try cleaning the throttle body. I'm kind of scared of seafoam though.

Replaced the drivers side leaf pack with some OMD springs, and added some OMD springs to the passenger pack, and tied it all together with some new 5125's.
I'm currently waiting in a parking lot for some LED's.

I know but the place I fill up at is. It's actually hard to get premium in general around here. I have to plan ahead to make sure other towns have it if I travel.

I Seafoamed about a month ago, haven't seen any real increase in MPG's but the truck did seem to be running a little smoother.

I remember going to the Gulf station down the street & buying premium with 106 octane.... the 76 station had 99 octane

Nope. Its right in the crease between the bed and wheelwell. Also, I just checked using a flashlight and found numerous pinholes in areas the otherwise seemed solid. I'm now looking at cutting out a 6"x5" section of my bed and welding in a new piece.

At this point, I'm thinking about taking pics and starting a new thread. Let's call it "An idiots guide on how to repair a truck bed...the idiot being the OP".

I wish we had anything above 91 octane. There is a guy with 106 race fuel, but he wants $8 a gallon.

The next step was going to the local airport & run AV fuel, it was 111 IIRC

But we were running v8's w/10.5+ -1 compression & you needed a min. of 92 oct just to run it mildly & Fri. Sat nights were reserved for a street light to street light thing..haha THATS when racing fuel was needed
anything less & it was nothing but pings

Good cause i cant look sideways like that...
