Cool. I don't have a DMR type upper, but I need to quit assembling guns just to have them sit in the safe. Got rid of my AK, thinking about selling my SBR upper in 223 - I'm on a downsizing kick.

You have clearly never held or shot a Noveske rifle.

I'm not even going to argue lol.

LMT is no where near Noveske quality IMO. Fit and finish is unbelievably top notch and their QC department does not slack. I got a chainsaw grade lower receiver from them, basically it's a receiver you save 20-40 bucks on because it has a cosmetic blemish. I can't even find anything that looks close to being wrong with it and the tolerances are tighter than anything I've ever held.

If I could afford it I would have noveske barrels on all my guns.

Are they really worth the extra money of other name brand AR's? I see them come up from time to time but they just seem stupid expensive!

If you have the money, then yes. But mine goes "bang" every time I pull the trigger with any brand of ammo I can find and takes out coyotes 300yds away. I'll use the $700-1k savings and buy ammo or more stuff for my taco!

Def worth the time and money that goes into proper manufacturing procedures and multiple looks over for quality. Literally anything that isn't up to standard isn't sold. Sometimes it pays off to go with the bigger companies. I put a Daniel Defense barrel on my gun, wanted a noveske but none were around at the time. It's a $280 lightweight barrel and it's far more accurate then the standard govt barrels on any of my friends guns and just as accurate as an SPR profile barrel.

Thought I would move my VX-1 Leupold scope in it's mount to get it centered up better. Also wanted to try the handle sights out and get those in line if ever needed. I will sight the handle sights in first then tweak the scope back into position. I am liking this look on it.

Some people think it is cool to shit on other people's opinions. It is my opinion. As I clearly stated in my post at the end "imo". It does what I need it to do. Some guys like grass on the field, some like playing in the mud. Some guys like girls, some guys like guys. Some guys even like guys trying to be girls trying to be guys. Some guys live in sc

    Now..back to the AR-15 chit-chat...

No, Noveske is not worth the premium they charge. None of them are. If you feel the need to pay the extra for that particular logo, then more power to you. But you could put a halfway decent barrel and bolt on a Core15 and shoot right with a Noveske. The only difference then would be that the Core15 owner isn't going to cry like a girl when he scratches his rifle on a barrier:angrygirl: Not that you'd ever see the typical Noveske owner running barriers or getting dirty...

Is run a noveske gun hard and wouldn't worry about it.....do I also believe you can get a gun that is just as good by building it yourself? Yes, I do. My current AR is probably gonna get upgraded again sometime. When I get a better barrel in it I would put it up against any custom gun

How many rounds do you guys go through when shooting your ar15? I took my M&P sport out last week and fired about 90 rounds and the barrel got really hot. You could feel the heat in the handguard too. Will this damage the barrel or any other parts of the gun? I was wanting to shoot some more but stopped because I didnt want to damage anything.
