How to deal with lying land developer

If you don't have a signed agreement, well that's been covered. Plant a "For Sale" sign in front and start calling TV, radio, and newspaper columnist, and let everybody know what kind of company they are.

Or... stop mowing the lawn, put couple junk cars parked in front, maybe a few bags of garbage on the porch. And they won't be able to sell when they finish the place

 

Hey the sign could shy away customers, I ain't the only one in the neighbor hood with bad things to say either

 

And open you up to a lawsuit.

If you and your neighbors have a legitimate issue with the developer, you need to take him to court.

 

It's the same complaints I have pretty much, except I'm the only one that had a minor theft issue

 

Why would the op be open to a lawsuit for trying to sell his own property? Just curious.

 

the law by me is that you can't start making any noise until i think it is either 7am or 8am

 

He's talking about putting a sign on his truck or property bashing the developer.

People have been successfully sued after leaving a negative Yelp review.
It's 2014, you need to take the high road and make the first move in court.
