man I want the swag bender for the shop press. Hell I should just get that to bend my own shit lol. But yeah, I want just a mig welder. I tiged for years not to fond of it anymore. But I do NEED a stronger welder for thicker metal. Im working on getting work from the machine shop that cuts my parts for me

I think the saw would pay for itself faster than the welder.

Me too. Butttttttt These bumper I'm selling are 1/4" at the cradle and 3/16" walls. My machine is max 1/4" and the burn time is like 10 mins. and Im worried I wont get enough penetration. And something bad happens

Ive been back and forth with this for weeks. Then my bender broke:mad:

If that's the case then definitely go with the welder first.

My buddy got a bigger welder a few months ago. The damn thing is bigger than most ac units lol. I don't know the specs on it though.

Don't need anything for the rears atm. The 883's will give me 1.5" of lift and will pretty much level it out. They just ride better than the eibachs lol

    Look at build!
I actually prefer SMAW over all for some reason but I just like the small tediousness of tig, im actually going for an interview Monday tigging stainless so I shall see how that goes... I prefer free hand anyhow.

But I agree with another comment above, the Bandsaw would pay for itself as would the welder, but in my case id stick with my portoband and get the welder in your case needing it for thicker metals.. I usually just bevel if its 3/8 or over, but mine is rated upto 5/16 but I wouldn't ever take it that high on a single pass.

As for the bender im looking into the Swag kit as well for bending frame plates! I hate clamping them to the table and hand bending them

    Bout like mine haha

I have the Rogue Fab bender and have lost interest in a verticle bender for some reason, just like the JD I learned on better.. Im about to order the JD Model 32.. the damn Dies is what kills you! I want an 1.5" die so I can stop making overkill tube doors from 1.75" haha not a bad thing but a little unnecessary... I wish I could find the hookup on steel you have
Aughta just team up and start a Taco fab shop... could probably take over the east coast

The sway kit to bend all in all is like 400 after getting the HF shop press man. I dont have room for one. Plus my weld on mounts are cut to cheap to make my self

With 886's he'll be ready for one of your bumpers lol. Cause without it he'll feel every pebble in the road lol.

Would be really cool man... But there isnt enough money in this offroad stuff.. When i had my ship repair business, wasn't nothing to clear 19,000 a month for 40 hrs a week of work. I still look back at the copies of checks ive cashed :(
