Thanks!! It has the Toytec Ult. 3" lift kit with 258/65/18 Nitto TGs. The ride is so smooth it's ridiculous.

LOL! I just put a K&N intake in the 4Runner, but at first didn't tell my wife that I bought it. She was cool with it and didn't really care. So I installed it. The next morning she goes to work and I get a call at lunch - "Thank you, I love my truck and whatever you did to it. It drives so good." I laughed. She then called me on the way home and asked "Holy crap what the hell did you do to my truck, it's a lot louder now!?" The K&N does make it sound a lot more fierce. I really like the V8, and now with the new intake there is some really good throttle response. Which ever you end up getting will be great. Plenty of room for a car seat in the back. BUT DO NOT GET A THIRD ROW SEAT!!! As said before it's a waste of space and money. You will more than likely want the seat out most of the time. It is more like a jump seat, and is so unuseable.
    Good Luck!

is there plenty of room for Two Car seats?? A toddler seat and a rear facing seat? They both fit great in my Silverado but don't know how they will fit in a 4runner?

The 4runner is about the same size of the Tacoma, so if you can fit them in one you could fit them in the other. My kids are out of seats (well one is and the other is in a booster) so I don't know for sure. I would have to think you would be fine, unless you have humungo car seats that have their own roll cages and air bags. LOL! You should be fine. When on the test drive take the seat (and the kid if you have to) and check the fit.

I have an 07 4-runner, its a V6 plenty of power I can get 22-24 mpg on HWY. I wouldnt get the V8 unless you plan to tow something heavier than you would tow with the Taco. The backseat in the 4-runner is more comfortable than the DBL Cab Taco IMO.

We own a 2001 Limited Sequoia and it is AWESOME! Definitely the perfect addition to a Taco for a family. 129K trouble free miles and counting... Sequoia or 4Runner, either are a winner IMO.

We have a '01 4 runner, sport model. 151000 and going strong. I really love that car and will be sad to see it go.....but I take a little consolation in knowing that when the tiem comes a new 4 runner will be taking it's place.

I have an '05 4Runner Sport for family outings and the wife. Suspension is a little stiff but other than that it is nicer than the Tacoma in build quality. Fabric on seats, matirials used in cabin, dash, etc. I get 22-25 mostly freeway mileage at 70mph. I would buy one again in a heartbeat over anything else as a family vehicle. You cannot beat it for hauling kids and crap around that needs to be locked up.

I am still looking for a truck for picking up lots of fencing, hunting trips, rocks and dirt at Home Depot, etc. Hard to pull the trigger though when I drive an accord with only 137K miles that gets 31 mpg.

I had a 97 4Runner with 209,000 miles on it. It was a great SUV I drove it for 3 years before i turned it in to get my new tacoma. No real complaints except I had some problems with the brakes and roters being worn unevenly which caused vibrations when I stopped at highway speeds.. It was a 4X4 Limited edition
