I'm new to this thread. Born and raised Texas Aggie. I'm pretty disappointed with all the offseason arrests and crap we've had this year. To top it off, Kenny Hill was arrested yesterday and is suspended. While I don't think Kenny Hill would be the starting QB come fall, it's still a problem.

I got to go to our first scrimmage of the spring. Special teams looks like it's still a problem for us but I'm confident about our defense and our offense.

Thanks. I was surprised like everyone else when we did so well our first season. I honestly think that if we had a decent kicker that year, we would've been undefeated.

It was more of a joke regarding the recent arrests and how many SEC teams tend to have a bunch of arrests. I'm not a big fan of A&M and I don't really like Sumlin.

But regarding the 2012 season, that team could have gone undefeated in the Big 12. I'm not sure that a different kicker would have made much of a difference for y'all.

When a kicker can't even make PATs, there's a problem. Lost to LSU by five. Two missed FGs and a missed PAT. They chose to go for it on 4th down instead of kick against UF because of how bad he was.

That's like saying, if Mettenberger had played like a halfway decent quarterback against y'all, they would have won by 21. Or, if Bama hadn't played LSU the week before they played y'all, Bama would have won. It's too hard to tell how it would have panned out. :notsure:

hate to say it but maybe paying these players will cut down on that. If they get paid they will have more of an incentive to stay out of trouble than just for the free education and possible nfl draft,

If that was the case then we wouldn't ever hear about a NFL player getting arrested for the same stuff. Money will just give them more means to buy drugs, alcohol, and guns.

Howdy and welcome! Nice to have a fellow Ag on here.

IMO it just gives them more money for alcohol.

I'll take his scholarship spot on the bench. It's not like he's contributed much.

Not yet. I assumed they would add him into a tandem. He's pretty quick and powerful. Saw him run at the UK game last year.

I agree that he's talented, but Bama has so much depth at running back that it'll be a year or two before he's used much.
