Shamokin PA, April 18th-19th *feeler*

Anyone want to take a trip to Shamokin on those dates? If there's a group I plan on getting up there early Friday camping friday night and wheeling Saturday before I have to go to work.

 

You know me. I can only do Sundays and that would be Easter Sunday. Besides, I'm now having overheating issues.

 

I'd be up for it. I'm pretty sure I could do both days too

I know of some non toyota guys that would probably come if we want more. 150, Raptor, Hummer and possibly a wrangler with bald tires

 

Ill have to pass because of the holiday. If not for that...

 

I don't really care, it's more about wheeling then what you drive with me.

Three things to look for, water pump, coolant level, and thermostat. Grab the pulley on the water pump and shake it up and down, if the pulley moves, water pump bad. Coolant level, this is a no brainer. Thermostat, get the truck up to temp, then squeeze the hose tight that comes off the thermostat housing, with a glove on of course, and if when you let go you feel a rush of fluid, thermostat is working properly, if not, thermostat may be sticking. Having a mini wrenching day at my house tomorrow with Zak after 330. I know its a stretch for ya, but you're welcome to stop in

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's the thermostat. I just had the water pump replaced and fluid level is fine. You have a PM.
