OK. Got the RST Speedo kit working for Rays truck. Perfect of course!!! Got the ARB hooked up. Just need to supply the power today and it'll be ready to go. Added some heat wrap around the exhaust where it comes close to the t case and added some protection on the rear bumper and under the radiator.

I'll get pictures of all of it today and post them up tonight.

    After that it's done!!! :D

I would love to man. I drove Rays truck the other day. Now I love my truck and how it drives. It handles very well and has never let me down. But when I drove Rays truck it was even better. It tracks very well and is even more well behaved on the street than mine. It's quite and has no rattles or weird noises and has a ton less body lean than mine does.

I can't wait to get this Beast out on the trails. He has got one of the best!

So jelly of those Currie axles...

Have those JJs been flipped since those pics were taken. Just looks to me like those zerks would otherwise get ripped off in no time flat.

What we do with those is pull them out and put threaded plugs in until we need to grease them again. You can't get a grease gun in there when the zerks are pointed up instead of down.

OK Rays truck is ready to hit the trails. I'll take it out on the highway tonight from Huntington Beach to Long Beach and back just to check it out.

Got the ARB lines run and hooked up, got the wrap on the exhaust going around the t case and added a bit of protection for the rear lights. At some point we are going to remove the bed. Bob it and tube the rear but for right now we'll just protect the light.

Front and rear ARB line. We'll make the breather tube longer but for now it's good as we wont be going deep sea fishing for some time.

So Ray took his truck home last night. Drove it to work today and then found something to play with.

The rear has a bit more travel to go but Ray was just checking it out.

Here are Rays thoughts on driving his truck for the first time after the build.

    Driving Rays SASED Tacoma.

He has one sweet ride now. Can't wait to see the smile on his face when we take it to Big Bear this weekend.

Here is the entire build. Building Rays Beast

Gold Mountain, John Bull and then if we have time we'll hit up Holcom Creek. Going to be taking a lot of pictures and taking time to look things over.

We took Rays newly built Sased Tacoma to Big Bear. Drove it from Downey California to Big Bear California without any issues. 70 mph on the freeway was very nice and it handled the twisties going up the mountain roads very nicely.

We started on Gold Mountain trail. Just wanted Ray to get used to wheeling this beast. We hit our only snag right at the start. The 4wd shifter would not engage. It was hitting the rear of the console so we just cut a small notch into it and he was on his way. Not an issue the rest of the day. [IMG]

    DSC03307Copy_zps752ac178_e1b7fee511ddbfc382144ea4511f74356c2e8d6d.jpg

From Gold mountain when then headed towards John Bull trail which gave Ray a huge headache the last time he was on it when his truck was still IFS. But this time would be very, very different.

His truck went through John Bull like it was a free way. Not a hitch or hang up anywhere. We didn't even hit any of his new skid plates. I can't tell you how happy Ray was after conquring this trail so easily.

Ray heading into the Gate Keeper on John Bull.
