The truck sits at off base housing and I don't think he drives if much right now. He is actually in California for a good bit at the moment. From what he told me, he is going to build that truck up to be the weekend warrior.

2004 F-350...uh lots of motor work to go fast...er. Way to much to list. 2001: 3" leveling kit, ARB bumper, lightforce 240 blitz, 35" KM2s. SOLD 2008: OME 886s 90000 with dakars, LR UCAs, 5% tint, Satashi. SOLD 2015: Flooded and Gone
no, plus i won't have to get it inspected in NC because i am keeping AL plates on all the vehicles. one, it is cheaper than changing to a new state because i also would have to get NC drivers license. two, if i got them inspected they would fail because of the tint on the front windows, the windshield is just a bonus point for failing! lol. but haven't gotten pulled over yet, and base doesn't have a say so unless i get pulled over.
lol! ya i don't like people looking in my trucks. if i did i'd roll the window down and advertise it, but unfortunately people are very nosey. i do plan on getting 35% on my 08 later down the road….like a while down the road really.
true, it goes in cycles around the houses but thats it. just enough to keep it all lub'd.

OK. I was just curious. I know when I was in, even if your vehicle had out of state tags, you still had to conform to local laws. I just wasn't sure how tough they might be in NC and all. Was curious.

well ya i'm abiding by their laws....but for tint laws no, not one bit. it isn't even legal back in b'ham, so i mean either way if i get checked then ya i'll "fix" it. but i got pulled over back home 5-8 times with my tint on the 1st gen and not even hoover said anything about it. they ask and go on about their day.

I've had my tint 4 years and was just asked about it a week ago. I was surprised, the front side window measured out at 15% but it was supposed to be 20% or 25%. He didn't even notice the 50% on the front.

I currently have a warning, no fix it.

hm....i havent had any problems. but then again, i made sure to roll my front windows down when i got pulled over:D 50% is hard to notice, enough to cut some glare down without being seen.

    Okay Bill
Bad news and good news: It's not the 416 but a M105A2. He said it was listed as a 3/4ton, but if I'm not mistaken a 105 is a 1ton ? It was all original the air brake line had small spider cracks, tires looked dry, brake light wires were there but pulled out of the plug, just small surface rust here and there and decent canvas. He said he pulled it there using a F250 dually and that it would make it back to B'ham. He said that he would sale it and you could call him. PM sent

I should stop myself from grammar policing, but this one drives me crazy: HE WOULD SELL IT. SELL IT. SELL. YOU CANNOT SAY SALE HERE, IT IS WRONG.

Sorry about that, carry on.
