How To: unlock all doors one click.

Try disconnecting your battery. When my battery has been disconnected i have to do it again.

 

I just attempted this a few times with no luck on my shiny new 2014 double cab TRD with the dealer preinstalled alarm. Looking at the manual there are only really two customization options for this vehicle anyway which seems odd.

 

Doesn't work, I think it's the remote shorting out and causing your doors
to unlock at the same time. Try a different remote and see what happens.

 

Not the remote. Has worked for a few people. Done it to a few local tacomas too.

 

I am trying to accomplish this too, among other settings. I haven't been successful with Techstream to make any changes or get beyond the yellow headings once it downloads from the ECU. Has anyone else had success with this? I am using Techstream version 9.00.025 with an aftermarket cable/dongle. It does connect to the vehicle, it just won't allow a more complete detailed download other than the headings of what can be modified.

'14 access cab TRD Sport 6M, didn't work. I did just program the fobs here at the house that the dealer forgot to put in the glovebox. Lots of great info on here, glad it found you folks.

 

Don't do it if your wife or daughter drives your truck because then anyone can jump in the passenger door when they stop for a light or whatever . This is a safety feature ......

Nope. Nobody knows how except via Techstream.

I even had the lead mechanic print out the procedure from Techstream to perform it myself and it doesn't work for some odd reason. So, I had him try it too and he conceded that Toyota changed something so it doesn't work except via Techstream.

 

I think I will settle for trying to reporgram my compustar starter to be able to do the one click driver, 2 clicks passenger/all opening like default.

 

Would not work on 13 double cab SR5 XSP-X
