60+ year old thread.

As you may have noticed from my posts, I'm usually pretty easy going BUT!
Son-of-A @!#$%^"&*()(*&^%$#@! temps to drop into the 20's and a possibility of 5" to 8" of snow! Whaa, Whaa, Whaa.

 

Getting harder and harder to stay up late. Decided to watch The Good The Bad and the Ugly last night as well. Made it to bed at midnight. Also did 4 loads of laundry, only 1 load of laundry to do today.

LOL And you live in the snow capitol of the US.

Hang in there spring is only 2 months away.

 

OMG it's pouring here.
Drive is flooded.
Can't see out the windows very well.
Starting to get a cold.
But the good news is it's taking the snow away from in front of the boat

I know all about pain Charlie.
Before my hip was done I was holding on to cars walking around the shop.
I wish you all the best that they can take care of you.

And you wonder why mistakes are made trying to hurry to do major work for so little time.
It's not about quality, it's about quantity.
Techs have 3 strikes against them before they even start.
And you wonder why we get such a bad rap.

Carol is doing that now. I can see the top of my grandson's lawn chair. Haven't seen that in 4 months.
I almost started the bike yesterday but this week looks like crap so wasn't going to be worth it. The sun sure did feel good. I think it hit 50.
Just dark and gloomy and the rain has let up.
I just want this to end..........

 

This will pass and then the heat will settle in for the summer...

We got 4-5 inches overnight. In the 40's and sunny today, snow will melt fast

 

Any of you fellas or gals do any hand loading of your ammo? Rifle specifically. (Ruger, .257 Roberts, M77 Mark II, 22" barrel)

 

I just 6 hrs. in shorts, the spring taco detail ,never broke a sweat. 71 sunny and 15 mph winds .. Hate me if you must.

Wrap a tow strap around the handlebars and get the DR to give you a tow with the corvette. About 30 ought to do. Second gear and jump,on the seat.

The lotus blew up in Fl. Due to a over balanced crank and the idiots putting in the wrong plugs causing pre ignition.
Carol told me he always does good when your around and he has all these problems when your not there.
So on to another motor guy.

You really need a button on the Harley. With your issues starting to surface your going to need it.

Evening all:
Spring is just around the corner! It's been raining here since late yesterday, supposed to warm up after tomorrow!

I hand load for 30-06, .308, 6.5 Rem Mag., .350 Rem Mag., 22-250, and .357 Mag. Also have dies for 25-06, .243, .270, and .300 Win. Mag., that I use on occasion.
What do you need to know? I have a buddy that also hand loads. He has a .257 Roberts and may be able to provide some info.

 

Freakin snowed here today. Spring will just not get here this year.

 

Happy April Fools Day EVE...Got back last night from my volunteer weekend up in Secaucus for the dive show. Always a good weekend, but long days. Weather really sucked with all the rain and kept the numbers down a bit but won't know for sure until the final count is in.
