Cleared that right up. I always wondered why sometime cops speed without lights. Understandable.

Wow, I didn't expect anyone to get upset over that.

I remember in November when the guys robbed the tacobell at gun point in Aurora... I was sitting outside in line for a PS4... yes I know... and a black unmarked cop flew down Mississippi at close to a ton... with no lights... crossed the over pass of 225 and hit a city bus as he went through a red light... and kept going... shit was crazy, we didn't know at the time it was an armed robbery... I thought someone stole a cop car the way the guy was driving... all the rest of the cars went through with lights on at a MUCH more reasonable speed (still well over the speed limit) about 45 min later a cop stopped and helped clear and deal with the wreckage...

no point... just wanted to share :D

Statute requires that we drive with due regard for the rest of the citizens on the roadway. That doesn't sound like due regard! Lol!

Yeah that's why the first thing I thought of was someone jacked a cop car... especially after he kept going after hitting the bus (and I think another car)

Combine the chase scene from end of watch with the truck chase scene from bad boys 2 and that's how it is in my patrol car...except I'm alone :anonymous:

What's the best way to go to get my windshield replaced? Finally cracked fully. Right in line of sight. Anyone know of deals etc?

I have full coverage so it was free to replace. Safelite came and did it in my driveway.

btw - mine was fully cracked, mostly in the line of sight... for at least 5 years.

Was it the two part clear coat (with the hardener you release into it)?

That stuff is insanely volatile smelling. Forgot my respirator when I painted my new grille (had to go to a friend's heated warehouse to do it). Holy fawk I probably took 3 years off my life and 25 points off my IQ

Who's DOT? Mine's not cracked but is getting that nice peppered look when driving into the sun. I'm kinda anal about windshields though. Probably because I wear prescription glasses.

We had a discussion about this last Friday night up in Ft Collins... something about not replacing the windshied with Safelite but requesting a PGE because the Safelites are so cheep.. don't remember fully... but that was the gist....

think Lauren, Sam, WillT, And I were the ones talking about it, maybe they could chime in
