Power window help

My passenger window will go down but won't go up on the drivers switch. But the passenger switch will allow it to go up and down.
Any ideas?

 

the switch on the driver will have to be replaced

 

Take the switch out of the driver side door. Isn't hard. The panel the switch is on: Pop up the front of the panel and pull forward. Unplug the switch. Then carefully take the switch apart. Keep track of the contacts. I would be those contacts need cleaning. Had this happen to one of mine once. Cleaned the contacts and it went back to working.

 

Both of these answers are correct. One will cost you $$$ the other will cost you time.

 

I'd wager anything that it's just dirty contacts on the master switch assembly.

Prior to cleaning, my driver's side window would be dicey rolling up. After cleaning, it's like new. For reference you can see how dirty it was prior to cleaning. The passenger side window contacts are the two little rocker style ones in the bottom right of this picture.

 

Cleaned it now my passenger widow won't go up or down on even on the passenger side switch it won't go up or down. Driver does

 

Checks all fuses

 

Anyone? Should I order new master switch off ebay?

 

Make sure you didn't get the contacts for the window lock messed up.

 

I got them correct. I don't know what happend but now I can't get window to go down at all

 

Any ideas
