Upon further review of my injuries, I scraped my elbow, scraped my knee, and I may have possibly broke my thumb, but more likely just sprained. It hurts really bad, it is super swollen, and I cant really move it. Awesome. But I got a few decent shots. Not the best shot, but it shows water in motion best. The others will be up in the photo thread shortly.

Thats a sweet pic though! Hopefully the thumb turns out to be just a sprain though. I have took many falls while fishing until I finally invested in some wading boots. Never a pleasant feeling.

    Awesome shot TJ.

So now I have to stop bitching about my wet leg 2 weeks ago?

Thanks! Yeah, I got back from a friend's later than I expected and then my sister needed me to send a photo and before I realized it it was 11:55 and I was still going through my other photos of that ice/water/steam experiment I was trying. They didn't turn out as well as I had hoped, and I thought that my entry was better so that's what I ended up doing. :p

There were a lot of great shots this week. Nice work guys!

    JMed109 (Jeremy)

Very nice shot! I like the longer exposure to smooth the water out.

    OneWheelDrive (Peter)

Nice work! I like the symmetry of the buildings and the movement caught in the water. Your eye is drawn straight to the water and follows the water throughout the photo.

    WillT (Will)

Nice job capturing the movement of the water! I think it may be a better if there was a little better composition. The composition just kind of makes your eye wander around the photo. Nice work though! You captured the challenge nicely.

    JoeTacoma02 (Joe)

Very nice shot! You stopped the motion of the water but it is clearly a moving water shot. I like how you got right in on the fountain and filled the frame with the subject.

    Tex (?)

Very cool shot! Great idea with the glow stick! I would have liked to of been able to see the water a little more clearly though. I like the idea and thinking outside the box.

    krapp22 (Adam)

Hood of the Tacoma? I like this but it kinda makes your eye wander around with the composition. I like where you went with this though.

    slow03z (?)

Cool shot! Tell me about the coloring in the shot. You captured the moment nicely!

    m3bassman (Ben)

Beautiful shot! I like the direction you went with this. Great thinking out of the box. I would have liked to of seen the rain a little closer to make it the main subject of the photo though. Nice work!

    Rich91790 (Rich)

Very cool shot! You also went outside the box thinking of a glass shower door. I like the water drops on the door and the movement in the background. Nice job of capturing both!

    Fire252Fighter (Mike)

Cool shot! I wouldn't have thought of getting under the shower head like that to get a picture. That's a hard shot to pull off composition wise.

    Cold Iron (Mike)

Nice job capturing the movement and stop action of the water! I think this would have come out a lot better without the harsh light and shadows of the mid day sun. I think and evening or early morning shot would really enhance your lighting and make it pop.

    BuzzardsGottaEat (Chaz)

Nice leading lines Chaz! Kind of bothers me thinking maybe the tree and people should be directly in the center. Nice shot though. What was your idea?I know you threw this in here just to mess with me knowing I say something about all the photos. lol

    Bennett707 (Cody)

Nice shot of the goose! You captured the movement in the water nicely. Maybe watch the composition a little. Is this a crop?

    BabyTaco (Gage)

Shittery shot! Haha! Yours actually came out better than the one I tried. Nice work capturing the flushing water movement!

    pkjr (Pete)

Nice work Pete! You always seem to set a mood with your photos. You captured the moment of the water in a tub nicely and made it interesting. You always seem to get the lighting just right. Nice job!

    Chenbro (?)

Really really cool shot! The focus and shutter speed is dead on. I wouldn't expect any less from you. I really like the color with the temp shift. This makes me feel like I'm watching it right there with you. Nice job!

    skidooman (TJ)

Awesome shot TJ! You went totally out of the box on this and used a new technique. I've been wanting to do some shots like this for awhile now and just haven't grabbed the aquarium and gone to do it. The movement and underwater shot looks awesome! Nice work TJ!

    EFalco50 (Ethan)

Nice shot! The rocks seem to distract me a little though. Nice work capturing the movement.

    92Shawman (Kevin)

I really like the shot with the rain in it. You captured thee movement nicely! Focus on the bird is dead on. Nice work!

Grats, Peter! I was telling my wife that yours was probably going to be the winning shot for the week as I was getting ready to submit mine. Very cool how it goes from looking like a rectilinear lens in the center and then fisheyes out at the edges! Now let's have the next challenge!

I'm glad you knew well enough that I was messing with ya haha

Original idea was going to entail a portrait with some cool lighting and light drawing and a couple flashes as the end of the exposure to freeze some water motion. Looked awesome in my head, then never happened ha

Congrats Peter! Your shot was very well done and should have gotten extra points just for being above Blacks Beach :) Although it has been a long time since I have been there, not sure if it is still the same as it was back then. Anyhow not just a great subject shot but the perspective was outstanding and well put together IMO.
