That X in the B-pillar might be coming out once you start figuring out where your seats are going to go :D

Hell, I started figuring out where I wanted the seats as soon as the first one arrived. :D

I spend at least 80% of my time on this build staring/checking/measuring/changing my mind/staring some more. About 15% undoing stuff I already did, and like 5% actually accomplishing something /fabrication. :anonymous:

I intentionally set the B pillar back a bit for seat fitment. There may also be more footroom up front once I get the firewall area squared away, but I'm not certain yet. Plus I'm a short bastard @ 5'8" :( Monte and Silas are freaking giants in comparison.

Not sure what the leg room is for OEM (help me out here) but from the small of the back in the Corbeau seat (as set up in the pic) to what was the OEM body mount is 36". I'm shooting for ~44-46" (max distance) to the firewall. Any chance you could measure the distance from the OEM body mount to the firewall behind the pedals for me, pretty please dear?

I just brought the cab back into the garage. For shits and grins I took the bathroom scale to weigh the cab. 124lbs. Had to take a pic, otherwise Monte wouldn't believe me. :anonymous:

Why cut corners now? Get the set-loc's. Wherever you end up putting the seat, you're gonna decide later on you would like it a little closer or a tad further back, and this way you wont have to redo anything.

    :smash: F^@%... you're right.

    :lalala:

Tentatively they are set at 47", give or take once everything is in and clears the full suspension cycle.

Bought a 60" Hi-lift now rather than later, hoping I can somehow incorporate it into the bed design before I completely finish it.

Also bought some more brackets and tabs. For the shocks... aaaand because I decided I hated the motor/tranny mounts so much (mostly because of the shitty welding) I'm cutting them all off and starting over. :anonymous:
