The building contractor I worked for used to do that; he'd get out the spray gun and go to town. Then the next day we'd go around and tape the walls and paint the trim. He always said it saved time over taping the trim and painting the walls, then taping the walls and painting the trim. I always kind of had my doubts, but he was the boss.
The owner's faces were always hilarious if they happened to come home while we were still there, though.
    "WTF did you DO?!"

The previous owner of my house did that. EVERYthing is beige. We've been working from room to room at least painting the trim white to spruce it up and most of the rooms are completely repainted.

    Awesome!

Well this is a hell of a thing:

What did you end up getting for a razor, Billy? A Merkur? And what did you opt for with the blades? I bought 100 of the Wilkinson Sword's when I started shaving with a safety razor. Now that my face is used to the blades I can run them for a full month before I start getting nicks and have to swap them out. So I'm averaging roughly 30 shaves per blade, at about the same price of 16 cents per blade. Plus you'll notice that you've got healthier skin, I suspect. I did. No 'razor bumps' like I used to get with the Mach.
    Can't beat it.

I bought the Merkur. It came with a blade but I also bought some Windsor blades from Amazon.

Lovely freezing rain up here in Maine. 295 north of Portland really sucked balls. I was doing like 40mph. Fun timespadu4eqa_ec64fc62f275e8cd3db8fcd95216fcdad7d7aaf1.jpg

Damn... that sucks! A few degrees colder and I bet we would have been in the same boat. It was 34 and raining on my way to work this morning.

Ya mass and nh were fine, just a little freezing rain. But north of Portland it turned to junk fast and the roads were just crap. Real slippery.

    Damn, that's a nice kit!
I pieced mine together; bought the razor and the mug at an antiques shop, bought the brush and the blades on Amazon, and built a stand out of some scrap wood and dowels I had kicking around the workshop.

I had the same commute this morning. They hadn't done anything with the road in the industrial park I work in, so I got to clown around on that one a bit because it was just a sheet of ice.

Edit: Damn, I always forget that you work right there on Stonewood. If I worked that close to Buck's I'd weigh 200lbs and have the blood pressure of a steam engine...

Ya it's tough not to eat there all the time. What's also good, even though I don't generally like their food is every Tuesday Gritty's has taco Tuesday's. $2 a taco. Usually get 4 or 5, a bunch of us go every Tuesday for lunch

Meh. Never really been a fan of the Gritty's Tacos.
Their Pub Mac or their Pulled Pork sandwich, on the other hand...
And their Bison burger when they had it was awesome, but the Gritty's here in Lewiston doesn't have it on the menu anymore.

They're not anything spectacular, but for $2 I don't complain. One had other random stuff ther, and have never found it to be that great besides the beer. Bucks hands down crushes it when it comes to food

Ever been to Margaritas when they were still selling their street tacos? They used to be $1/ea. Our soccer team used to go there after every game. $20 would get you a few margaritas and a couple street tacos.

No argument there. I've been waiting for years for Buck's to open a location in the L/A area, haha! We've just got tons of crappy chinese food and fast food places. There's a couple of halfway decent restaurants around here, but they're all a lot more expensive than a meal at Buck's.
