Do you think I'd need dual batteries?

What's up TW,

Question, I'm beginning to add toys to my '13 DC and as i'm doing this, i'm realizing the load that might go on the battery might be large. I plan on doing a fuse box set up with a breaker in the circuit, before the fuse box, but with what i want to add, i'm curious to poll whether I'm adding too much and should consider a second battery. Here's what I'm planning on adding added:

- 4 Hella 700FF lights
- 2 seat heaters
- 2 heated mirror mod
- 110 outlet in the the cab
- bed lighting (led)

As some of you electrical experts look at this list, am I going to have problems with my battery if i run this stuff?

Am I over-thinking it?

No. The load on the battery will only be large if you try to run all that mess with the truck engine off.

...of course now, i need to watch Smokey and the Bandit and I've got Jerry Reed in my head. But that ain't bad!

 

The questions becomes can you keep your battery fully charged with your current load or driving habits? If not, a better investment might be an alternator upgrade. If you are worried that the engine off electrical load on you current battery will drain it to the point that you can not restart your engine, then a dual isolated battery setup might be a good investment.
