Same here i always thought they were pretty cool. Woulda gone through with the RTT but i see myself getting some more year-round use out of the Softopper. I'm anxious to put it to use and do some camping out of it!

Also gonna call Addicted soon and get a price on sliders and try and arrange another trip down that way.

All I have for a BFH is a 16lb sledge sooo I am going to be a bit careful on the beating. My biggest concern is not cutting the tires on the way home so I will probably beat the pinch weld flat and then just take the sledge with me in case. I should be fine for street driving after the CMC and pinch weld though. Ill probably pull off on a dirt road for some pics and then park it until I can knock out the fenders.

I'm excited for you Gage i wanna see those meaty bastards.

I only saw one in person and that was the day after i picked it up, was on a 2wd stepside taco haha. It seems pretty durable but only time will tell. The canvas is some pretty tough stuff too, i actually used some vice grips to pull the canvas so i could snap it into place (oops:eek:) and it didnt even phase it.

Being 23 degrees this morning didn't help my cause either but some warm sun should help it stretch out

I will be selling them on Craigslist. I know Brett wanted them for summer tires but I haven't seen him post in forever. Ill have to give him a text. I still need to sell the damn stock tires too.

Lol, I think a skid will be next...that will probably be right before summer. Then probably a bumper. Maybe in a year a SC will be on the list

O sweet, Ill have to shoot him a text sometime. I don't think they would last long on craigslist. They will be low price and look pretty good. I bet some one picks em up for a small truck or jeep.
