    Advance has them for the best price locally, but I got a box of ten from Summit for cheaper than buying them individually from Advance. Just had to buy two extras (4 if you're doing all 4 corners) from Advance (they were cheaper than Summit for individual units).

    Edit: If you can't find .5" spacers, maybe you could just take out the studs on your current ones and have them machined down to .5" and just slip them over the longer wheel studs you install on your hubs. Dunno how well it would work, but it's an idea.

    freakin awesome!

    i just wanta do the 2 fronts so 12 lugs total, gonna do some more research, but this is my more likely route than finding new wheels, i really hate how much the front sticks out

    i gotta pull off the front, and see if i'll have enough room to still be hubcentric if I add 1/2'' too

    Not that I'm against the idea of longer studs, but couldn't you have gotten some of these lug nuts with the extended shanks to grab the stud more securely? Just have to make sure they aren't so long they they bottom out before hitting the wheel. I believe Wes can vouch for that one if i remember correctly.

    my rims are so thick, there isn't too much thread to grab onto as it is, but yea i'll def need to make sure they don't bottom out before the wheel, thanks for the advice!

    this is why i love TW such damn good info, meaning that toward everyone in general, thanks for the link lee, EXTREMELY helpful

    Hmm...I didn't know about those. They might have worked if the shank fit though the hole in the wheel, but then, I'm only running .25" spacers with steel wheels so that shank might have been too long like you were saying. They would probably be trick in an aluminum wheel though.

    You're welcome. I know I beat my head against the wall trying to find out how to get longer wheel studs until I stumbled across that thread. It was a life saver. :cool:

    hmm, just realized what these are for, yea, as long as they fit through the hole, i guess that would work too. damn, this way is A LOT easier

    They'd probably be a nice option for your wheels anyway, Nam. They were made for thick wheels like yours. Even so, with a .5" spacer, you'll probably still end up doing the wheel studs.

    if anybody could help me find some ET m12x1.5 with a shank of about .5 - .75 it would greatly be appreciated, I'm only seeing .3ish, and the .9 ones are with washer, I feel like they don't exist in other sizes :frusty:

    All you need is a hammer. Doesn't even have to be a BFH. They come right out with a good hit or two.

    lol, BFH, i've never heard that before, but i can imagine what it is, lol

    that looks to be the way that everybody is doing it, but does it affected the bearing at all? cuse it's pressed on

    A couple taps isn't going to bother anything. Now if you sit there and hammer and hammer and hammer on them while they are in the hub, that might be another story. But each ob should take one or two quick hits on the head and they should pop right out.

    I posted that picture on the fb tw with the comment "there's got to be an easier way to change the spark plugs on one of these 4.0 motors." Lets see what responses i get from that.
