Hey guys, random electrical crap going on with my 97, Every time I turn on my right or left blinkers my hazards begin to flash. Obviously this is annoying especially in Baltimore traffic not having turn signals. I have 2 Hellas in the front and on the back, both separate relays, both wired fine with no other issues ever. I have trailer lights and I thew some Di-eletric grease up there as I have seen similar threads and this was the cause, so far no luck. Someone help me out please. Thanks!:)

Its probably a grounding problem. Did you recently install a trailer wiring kit? When I did my turn signals would go on when I hit the brake. Check all your grounds to make sure they are solid

My guess s the trailer convertor box these can cause lighting problems.

Carefully take the convertor box out of the wiring harness, hook wires back up they are color coded and see if your problem is gone. If so replace the trlr convertor box.

I had a similar issue in my 2001. Internal fault in the trailer converter box. Mine was situated in the driver side taillight. I got a new one from the local parts store and just spliced it in. easy fix.
