    no they ran great after install. then after all the front end work was done, they started rubbing. this was before jumping it. lol :p

    Fox 2.5 C/O's, Fox 2.0 rear shocks, toytec 1.5" AAL, TC UCA's, blue/white dashboard lights, seatbelt chime removed, Synthetic leather armrests, WO seat covers front and back, Goodyear Wranger Duratrac 285/70/17, KMC XD Addict 17x9 rims
    So I put my TC UCA's on a couple of weekend ago and when I was reading the instructions I saw it said to use a teflon based grease. I didnt have any so I just used some polyurethane grease until I get some teflon based grease. Will I be alright to just shoot the teflon grease into the zerks and have it mix with the polyurethane grease or should I take it apart again and clean all the polyurethane grease and then put the teflon grease in?

    You should be OK. I have been useing Mobil 1 grease with no issues.

    for the life of me i can not get the upper ball joint bolt from the UCA free from the sway bar upright/linkage... it seems that they are not colinear. ive tried a jack on the LCA and the UCA independantly, the pry bar and a hammer... any ideas? I am doing a lift too, so i have the spring/shock out, the sway bar off, and the lower unbolted from the spindle/hub as well - everything is free.

    ToyTec 3" basic lift
    What's weird is when I first got my 3" toytec lift and 285/70/17 tires, i rubbed a bit on the front of the inner fender. I did some trimming and was all good. Then I had the TC UCAs installed, and now I rub in the rear part on the mud flap on some turns. I kind of just lived with it, but I was wondering if anyone had this experience.

    BTW, sorry if I jacked the thread, but since we were talking TC UCAs, I thought I'd ask. Thanks! :D

    The TC UCA's add caster by moveing the top of the spindle more tward the rear. Thus, moveing the center point of the axel tward the rear as well. Thats why its rubbing. An alignment shop should be able to dial in 2.9* caster, which should get the wheel closer to the center and have less rubbing.

    Just wedged between the stock UCA and the ledge on the upright... I've tried that, but its a struggle an no luck yet.

    Ok....I have never had an issue with using a hammer and tapping it out. You may have to give it a good whack, but it should pop right out.

    I tried the hammer thing...and wasn't thinking I was getting anywhere..so I got my hands on a small pulley puller...I popped both ball joints and the tie rod ends in like 5 mins...No issues.

    You may want to try what Brunes suggested, and get a puller. If the LCA is still attached to the spindle, I say whack the shit out of it with a hammer.
