Finally got the time to dip my bottom insert.

Thanks Thanks to A7xschecter6661 for the step by step removal. Took me awhile but was totally worth it.

You didn't have to remove the lower valance to PD it. All I did was put tape behind the grill, around the valance. It was easier then trying to get that stupid grill off.

The whole reason why I took the whole thing off is because I will eventually replace the insert with a new one (I will dip the new part again). I wanted to know how to remove them so when I do get my new insert, I will know where to locate all the tabs.

Some jerk reversed into my insert and damaged it. I had to bring down my license plate just so I can hid the marks. Lol

I seen your post before I did mines -- looks awesome. When I installed the insert back onto the bumper, I had to do some retouching. I taped just how you did and it came out smooth.

i honestly have no idea, but i would think it would interfere with reception/signal because its rubbery. this is just me talking though, i have no data to back that up lol

Matte grey would be good, better than black.

Hmm, maybe my depot was just out, they only had red, white and black.

I guess. My local Blowes has the upc codes and tags on the shelves for all sorts of colors but only EVER has black, white, grey, and now just started carrying red. Lowes blows.

I doubt plasti will interfere. But have you checked Ebay or Amazon for another antennea? Damn cheap to replace.

It actually looks good, and I just bought it so I can't just replace it yet.

Yeah I found that it was really easy to do. I thought that I would have to remove the bumper to take the lower valance off so that's why I did it like that. I think that it's better than that faded grey, black color. With the PD it brings it out and makes it look new again.

I like it! I have a plan for my hood but time and wind have held me back. Once it's done, it'll be on here.

Going to dip my rear bumper next time the weather is nice. Also, has anyone dipped their stock "fender flares"? Not sure how that would look really.
