    How many miles do you guys usually get out of your break pads? And did you replace with OEM parts or go with a different pad? I think im getting down to the squeal strips in mine and want to know what to replace them with, im at 37K right now

    I don't think it's how many miles, I think it's how thick they are.
    I get my oil changed at the dealership and they usually inspect the front pads while they rotate the tires and let me know what they are at and if they need replacing.
    Replacing the pads is easy, so I do that myself, just have to get the ceramic pads.

    this. mileage will vary greatly depending on driving situations. I had 60k miles on my last pair and they still had plenty life left. That was because I did a lot of driving between Denver and Dallas.

    yeah i gotta pull my front wheel to get a really good look at the pads so i was just curious, I am very light footed on the break, usually use a lower gear when going downhill so im assuming mine are probably still fine and have a bit of break dust making them squeak when coming to a very slow stop, otherwise they are quiet on normal breaking.
