Waiting for the 'that price is rediculous' comments to transpire. How is the plate holding up to warp? What temps you running at?

If you guys ever get out towards JDs try the pork shop. They have really good pork. And bacon. A bit far but the hams are so good.

The price is bordering on ridiculous because I don't really want to build another one since I'm just a hobbyist, but I can be bought.

No warp, had it well over 550° F (the limit of the thermometer) in the smoke box during burn in, the door for the fire box was damn near glowing. Typical smoke temp was about 225° in the smoke box.

I really want to convert a 250 or 500 gallon house propane tank into a smoker.

Or turn a long 1000 gallon unit into a smoker that looks like a submarine and stick it in the front yard just to make neighbors hate me more.

I just knew there was something off about you. I never could get on board with the barely able to be classified as BBQ at Bill Miller's. Rudy's is ok. Little hole in the wall in the back of the Shell station in downtown Boerne was pretty damn good.

Just recently found an awesome place on Cave Creek near Greenway. Hek Yeah BBQ. Some of the fullest flavor and tenderness I've ever had. Awesome sides and good sauces. And some incredible sweet tea. Service can be slow, but worth it.

There used to be this place that was next to the feed store in chandler called BBQ by the pound that was really good. When we were in high school we would ditch sometimes and meet up there and have lunch. They were never really busy because if the location and closed. If I want Turkey I'll go to Rudys but that mot really bbq. Normally I hit up Joe's in downtown gilbert.

Price is solid, bout what I would charge to build. Nice, I would have gone with 1/4 PL but if you aint warping I will keep 3/16 in mind.
    This is a brilliant idea
Woaw, lets not confuse me saying Bill Miller's is better then Rudy's as saying BM has good BBQ, cuz they dont, but if I had to choose the lesser of two evils it would be BM over Rudy's.
