KSG is an interesting design, but I still don't believe in Kel-Tec's QC. I'll keep my Mossberg 930, not that they didn't have their own QC issues in the early days...

Have you had a chance to shoot one yet? Pretty underwhelming. Stick with your Mossberg.

Really? Interesting. Yesterday was my first time shooting mine since I put on the 18" barrel, and man that thing kicks like a mule now, lol

Yeah, I have a Benelli Supernova tactical with the rifle stock and open sights and I run circles around my friend and his KSG in timed exercises. It's not even close, even with reloads. I see zero advantage to the KSG aside from its size. The ergonomics are not conducive to quick work. It's much easier to keep your muzzle on target with the longer reach of a standard shotgun.

Sold it to a buddy a few days after I picked it up. I prefer bob tails and it just wasn't doing it for me. I picked it up cheap, for a Brown, and sold it for the same. Then picked up the KSG. Didn't think we'd still be able to purchase the Kel Tec after some legislation but it turns out they're still legal to purchase. I haven't even shot it yet.:(

It was an early, circa 2001 notice the AK muzzle "brake", build before Bushmaster was sold. At the time it was 2nd only to the Colt and the Colts were pretty pricey.

I have two 870 as well. I'm a collector and the KSG was a must have for me. See above. :)

I don't know too much about the micro AK pistols, but I can tell you that the fit and finish on the PAPs is really good. I also have a Polish underfolder, and the PAP's quality blows it out of the water.

Also, I'd recommend shooting it a few times before throwing your stock/brace on it. The PAP is really manageable without one. I thought I wanted to SBR mine, but after I shot it a few times, I realized it wasn't necessary. Just something to consider.

My PAP M92's imported by Century are AMAZING fit and finish. They've been going for $399 lately and once those run out (I'm guessing by year's end) they'll go back up to $1,500 in value again. I've got a buddy that bought a butt ton of them for that very reason. I'm sure he'll make out just fine in about a year's time.

Edit to add a picture of an M92 I just chopped the thread protector off of to add a Yugo booster & detent kit. Takes about 2min to do now once you've done one and the color matching is cheap and simple: Rustoleum high heat black is nearly a perfect match. (you can't really see it in the pic as the shadow covers most of where the grinding has to happen to remove the weld tack to get the protector off.

My 'new' Type 99 Arisaka. Traded a little bitty trailer to my boss for it. Still has the emperor's mark on it and all. It's only missing the dust shield and a piece of the aircraft sight. Badass little piece of history right here. It works too, cos I fired it before last time we went shooting.
